Holiday apartment with a sunny terrace and a little garden
The holiday house typical of the Moselle is in the midst of the little village of Valwig, quietly situated near the vineyards, about three kilometres from the tourist centre of Cochem.
The apartment of around 40m² is on the first floor and consists of a living room with a sofa bed, with a bedroom next to it with a double bed, a little kitchen with a two-ring hob, a microwave and a coffee machine, and an adjoining bathroom with a shower. After an active day, you can relax in the cosy living room on a suite and read a novel. The little kitchen provides everything for preparing breakfast or other meals to enjoy in the dining space in the living room. If you do not feel like cooking, then you can enjoy regional specialities and exclusive Moselle wines in the adjoining restaurant and wine bar. You can also order breakfast rolls for collection next door.
There is a generous sun terrace out the front with an awning, deckchairs and loungers and there is an idyllic little garden behind the house with a shaded pergola for relaxing or grilling. You can park bicycles or motorbikes free of charge in the lockable vaulted cellar. There is a public parking space by the house and 50 metres from the house, free of charge.
The Moselle town of Valwig is only five minutes from the tourist centre of Cochem, with a range of shops, a bank, a pharmacy, a hospital and a wide range of recreational facilities, such as the Moselbad (outdoor pool and with waves), the Reichsburg Cochem, the Cochem chairlift, the historical Senfmühle, an animal a leisure park (Klotti), a little cinema, various leisure boats etc. There are many trip options in the area, such as to the Deutsches Eck in Koblenz, the Roman town of Trier, the Maar lakes of the Eifel or even the cathedral in Cologne. The rustic little wine-growing town also invites you to go for walks, e.g. along the Apolloweg or the Breva Wein & Weg, or cycling, or to enjoy sociable togetherness in one of the wine bars.
In season you receive the free guest ticket to use the buses and trains free of charge in the Cochem-Zell area, and other little price reductions.
